It takes about 6-8 months to heal. In about 3 weeks or so you should feel less pain unless you end up banging it. Now is the most logical time to get this piercing. It is before spring break and before warm summer weather. Downsizing is possible with this piercing but not always necessary so remember to come back to downsize for more comfortable healing if necessary !!
